Public health officials are investigating a confirmed case of tuberculosis at a middle school in Moncton.
Medical health officer Dr. Yves Leger said in a statement that a person at Sunny Brae Middle School was recently diagnosed with the infection…but they haven’t said if it’s a student or staff member.
An information session for parents will be held at Sunny Brae Middle School at 6:00 this evening.
A 34 year old Moncton woman will be in court today in connection with a fatal accident Friday morning.
A 66 year old man was killed when his vehicle was hit by a pickup at Morton Avenue and McLaughlin Drive around 3:00am. A male passenger in the pickup was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The woman driving the truck is facing a charge of impaired driving causing death in court today.
