Eastlink says TV customers with a package beyond the so-called skinny basic will be able to swap unwanted channels, choosing between about 150 at no extra charge. The CRTC issued a December 1st deadline for big providers to have small and individual offerings, on top of basic cable.

Province taking cross-border booze case to Canadian Supreme Court
The province is taking Gerard Comeau’s cross-border booze case to the Supreme Court of Canada. It wants leave to appeal after the New Brunswick Court of Appeal dismissed Public Prosecution Services without reasoning in October. The new application is for leave to appeal the merits of the provincial court decision.
