Setting a new trial date for Dennis Oland has been delayed a month. Another one was ordered after his second-degree murder conviction in the 2011 death of his father, Richard, was overturned by the New Brunswick Court of Appeal. The matter was put off until January 3rd.

Boil order lifted
You can drink it straight from the tap again…after you run it for a little while.
The boil order was lifted last night for those east of the Rerversing Falls Bridge after tests came back clean.
The boil order was instituted last week because of tubidity or cloudiness in the water caused by the heavy rains last week stirring up Latimer Lake.
Saint John Water says if you have been running the water for the last few days, you don’t have to do anything else. But if you haven’t…or been away…then you should open your taps for a few minutes to let the old water run through.
