Cape Breton hires traffic control for five schools

The School Board hired traffic control from a local security company for five of its schools.

The Director of Operational Services, Paul Oldford says it was for security; not because of the teachers’ work to rule, it was for traffic control.  There were concerns there may be more parents driving their kids to and from school rather than putting them on a bus, so the Board wanted to take precautions.
