Patients at the Oromocto Public Hospital can now access free wireless Internet.
The Horizon Health Network has partnered with the Oromocto Public Hospital Foundation to provide the free service.
Horizon’s Andrea Seymour says it’s important to enable patients to be connected to their loved ones when they need it the most.
Free patient WiFi is also available at 10 other Horizon facilities, and the health authority says it’s looking at ways to provide the service at all remaining hospitals, community health centres and clinics
