There was a bus-pedestrian accident last night at Chebucto and Connaught.
A pedestrian walked in front of the bus which swerved to the right and hit another vehicle, but the pedestrian was also clipped by the bus’s mirror. He was taken to hospital and is getting a ticket for crossing against the light.
A bionics expert at UNB has been named the 2016 Young Health Researcher of the Year by the New Brunswick Health Research Foundation.
Dr. Jon Sensinger is the associate director of the university’s Institute of Biomedical Engineering. His research focuses on finding ways to develop thought-controlled bionic limbs to improve how artificial limbs work. Sensinger is developing technology that provides audio feedback with each joint movement, a new technology which recent studies suggest is improving performance.
