There was a car-pedestrian accident yesterday afternoon during the rush hour that sent a 33 year old man to hospital from the west end.
He was hit at Oxford and Norwood Streets. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. No word on charges.
The judge has reserved decision on sentencing for a murderer.
Kale Gabriel was found guilty of second degree murder in killing Ryan White in Mulgrave Park in July 2010. A sentencing hearing was held yesterday where the Crown was seeking 15 years before parole and his lawyer was asking for the minimum ten years. The judge will deliver his decision in March.
