The R-C-M-P will go on trial April 18th on four charges of Labour Code violations. The charges stem from the force’s response to a 2014 shooting rampage in Moncton that killed three Mounties. Defence lawyers weren’t commenting yesterday morning as they left a pre-trial conference. The alleged violations relate to the force’s equipment, training and supervision. Justin Bourque will spend the rest of his life in prison after pleading guilty to three counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
