Police release sketch of holdups suspect

Police have released a sketch of a man believed involved in several bank holdups in the last couple of months.

Police are hoping someone will recognize him and inform them before the situation escalates and someone is hurt. So far there have been no injuries in any of the five bank robberies since late October.

Police have posted the sketch on social media and officers have been going door to door in the neighbourhoods were the banks were robbed hoping someone knows him.

Boil order for part of Moncton

Thousands of people in north-central Moncton are under a boil order because of a watermain break.

The boil order for all water used for consumption was issued as a precaution last night for about 3,900 homes after the break on Edgett Avenue. The boil order area is bounded on the north and west by Wheeler Boulevard including the Westbrook Circle neighbourhood, on the south by Millennium Boulevard and on the east by Walsh and Brady Streets.

Check the city’s website, moncton.ca, for details on the boundaries and information onĀ things you should be doing.

Testing will continue and the order remains in effect until further notice.
