A woman has been charged with stealing a car uptown Saturday.
The car was reported stolen from Union street around 3:30 in the morning. Then police spotted it on the east side about 20 minutes later. They pulled it over and arrested the 39 year old woman charging her with stealing the car and impaired driving.
Saint John Transit is making it easier for visually impaired riders to know when their stop is coming up.
An automated voice announcement system is being installed, according to the Telegraph-Journal. It will make voice as well as visual announcements when the bus reaches its next stop. The system will cost about $400,000 to install on all 43 buses, starting with the 1-8 and 31 routes.
