Outage update, warming centres set up

Over 100,000 customers were still without power into the evening after the storm. Crews had to wait for winds to go down before going up lines to fix them, and warming centres have been set up all over the province. Check out below for a full list.

NS 2017-18 capital plan

The province has released its 2017-18 capital plan.  It’ll invest $515 million this year, including on roads, schools, health care and public infrastructure across the province.  The plan also has a $169.2 million Halifax Convention Centre investment that was deferred from last year.
