Codey Hennigar not criminally responsible

Codey Hennigar has been ruled not criminally responsible for the murders of his mother and grandparents.  The bodies of Clifford William Ward, his wife Ida and daughter Ann were found on Jan. 7, 2015, after a fire at the former’s Old Guysborough Road home.  Hennigar faced three counts of second-degree murder and pleaded guilty, but has schizophrenia.  He’ll stay at the East Coast Forensic Hospital.
