Premier Brian Gallant has announced a new post-secondary education grant called Tuition Relief for the Middle Class. Combined with the Free Tuition Program, it’s expected to help up to 70% of students. Coupled with existing federal grants, the program will provide a non-repayable provincial bursary of up to 98%.

1.2% GDP growth for NB this year: Conference Board of Canada
A new Conference Board of Canada report says the province’s economy will outgrow Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador this year. It predicts a 1.2% GDP growth, although the Gallant government predicts only 0.6%.
