The search resumed in the Monastery area yesterday for 23 year old Craig Joseph Perry.

Because of improved weather and ice conditions, RCMP had searchers out on land as well as in the air and under the water at Barrios Beach where Perry’s car was found shortly after he went missing two weekends ago. He was last seen leaving a residence early in the morning of February 18th. No word if they turned up anything yesterday.

RCMP are looking for the driver of a car that dragged a Mounty about 15 metres on the weekend.

The driver had stopped at a checkpoint on Highway 4 in Alma early Saturday, had a brief conversation with the officer then hit the gas and took off dragging the officer. He suffered minor injuries.

Police are looking for a teen driving an older blue two-door Pontiac or Chevrolet with a loud exhaust.
