The All Saints ER in Springhill is closed again today due to a doctor shortage, but now open all weekend. It’ll reopen at 8 tonight, and stay open as coverage has been secured beyond that.

Amherst women’s day
A week from today, International Women’s Day will be celebrated at the Amherst Lions Community Centre.
A luncheon will take place from noon til 1:30.
It will feature chili, soup and cake; raffle tickets, door prizes; and a 50/50 draw.
Admission is free, but a donation to Autumn House will be appreciated.
