Even more snowmobiles were roaring at the Baddeck Forks Golf Course on the weekend raising money for cancer research.
It was the fifth year of the Ride for Dad fundraiser for prostate cancer research which brought in $37,000 pushing the total over five years to more than $100,000.
They haven’t released the name yet of a 32 year old man from Centre Rawdon who was killed after crashing his vehicle in Hants County late Friday night. The RCMP says the man’s truck was spotted in a ditch on Ashdale Road in Ashdale by someone passing by. It appears the man’s truck left the road and struck a tree. The 32-year-old man was found dead inside his vehicle.
