Miramichi will host an International Women’s Day event tomorrow.
It starts at 5:30 at Cake a Chance and ends at MillCove Cafe, as a march around town square will be followed by guest speakers, entertainment and prizes.
Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the Miramichi Emergency Women’s Shelter.
56 year old Claude Levesque, of Route 275 in Val d’Amour; was arrested on February 24th and charged with four counts of possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
When officers searched his house, they found large amounts of coke; pot, meth and hashish; as well as cash.
He will be in court for election, plea; and bail hearing on March 13th.
