A petition is out calling for the Bathurst police officers involved in Michel Vienneau’s death to be tried. A preliminary inquiry was ruled to not prove the manslaughter case against Patrick Bulger and Mathieu Boudreau, but information from it hasn’t been released. Lorne men admit to roles in fight
Two Lorne men have admitted to their roles in a 2015 fight outside a Halloween dance. Jonah Furlotte and Riley Bernard were among four people initially charged with assaulting two men. They were given a year-long conditional discharge with probation. Charges against another man were dropped, and an arrest warrant has been issued for the fourth.
