On Sunday, the yearly Friends of the Pugwash Estuary summer flotilla will take place.
It will start near the bridge at Conn’s Mills and go to Estuary House, a ten kilometer float.
Friends of the Pugwash Estuary was formed in 2004 by people who say the estuary is an ecological treasure.
A golf tournament to support the Clara Bacon Bursary Fund will be on August 19th.
It will be put on by the Cumberland Health Care Foundation at Bacon’s Par 3 in Upper Nappan.
The tournament will be a four-person scramble beginning with a shotgun start at 10 in the morning.
