This Saturday, the Port George Country Jamboree will feature 11 hours of live country music.

The event is a big fundraiser for the Kingston, Middleton; and the Lawrencetown Lions clubs, and the Port George community.

A rare lichen has been discovered on a small island in Kejimkujik national park.

The perforated ruffle lichen has never before been seen in Canada.

It was found by a Digby botanist at the top of a tree.
