Sears is opening a business services centre in Saint John. 350 new jobs will be created, including IT support, agents, team leads, HR, admin and managers. The centre is set to begin taking calls in the spring.

Ontario company suing NB over denied bridge-repair contracts
An Ontario firm is suing the province after being denied two bridge-repair contracts. Eiffage Innovative Canada filed against the DOT for over $13 million, saying it put in the lowest bids for Miramichi’s Centennial Bridge and the Tobique River Bridge No. 1.
