In the NHL…Leafs beat the Devils 4-2. Jets lost 5-2 to the Kings. Senators downed the Penguins 2-1 in a shootout. The Oilers rallied to beat Colorado 7-4. Flames lost 3-1 in Nashville. Blues beat the Canucks 4-1. Lightning zapped the Bruins 6-3.
NBA action saw the Raptors get a 40 point performance from DeMar DeRozan to beat the Heat 101-84.
In the NBL…Hurricanes downed the Miracles 101-93.
