Two men are due in court today for bail hearings after a machete attack at a drive-thru in Dieppe Wednesday sent a 21 year old man to hospital.
Two men were arrested a short time after the attack. 19 year old Brogan Black of Albert County and 26 year old Steve Cochrane of Riverview are each charged with aggravated assault. Both men were remanded in custody pending a bail hearing today.
Former Catholic priest Yvon Arsenault is facing another indecent assault charge dating back to his time as a priest in Shediac in the 1970s.
He is already serving prison time for molesting nine boys between 1971 and 1980. Now, another man has come forward to say he was molested too. So Arsenault was in court yesterday and the matter was adjourned until June 22nd.
