The province says Stats Can has revised our estimated economic growth rate for last year to 2.3%. That’s the biggest gain since 2004, with business investment also going up for the first time since 2008 and exports seeing their biggest gains since 2001.

Few New Brunswickers taking action to reduce home radon levels: survey
More than four years after a study revealed about 21% of New Brunswick homes have high amounts of radon, a follow-up survey shows most residents have done nothing to reduce levels. Radon is a colourless, odourless, radioactive gas that’s generated naturally. The initial Health Canada Cross-Canada Survey tested 14,000 homes nationwide in 2009-11.
