The province has released its economic growth plan for tourism. It plans to take advantage of emerging opportunities including Canada 150 celebrations. The maple syrup industry, trail maintenance and development, infrastructure and signage, and developing New Brunswick as an all-season destination are also targeted.

Amendments to WorkSafeNB legislation and policies
Amendments have been introduced to WorkSafeNB legislation and policies. They’re intended to have a more effective appeals tribunal, an improved and more efficient board of directors, and change how the rate of return on pension funds is calculated. Legislation surrounding workers’ compensation hadn’t undergone a thorough review for over 20 years.
