Amendments have been introduced to WorkSafeNB legislation and policies. They’re intended to have a more effective appeals tribunal, an improved and more efficient board of directors, and change how the rate of return on pension funds is calculated. Legislation surrounding workers’ compensation hadn’t undergone a thorough review for over 20 years.
