The losing vice-presidential candidate in the U-S election is in town for the Halifax International Secutity Forum.
Senator Tim Kaine is attending as is another Senator and former presidential candidate John McCain, the U-K’s Defence Minister Michael Fallon and Deputy U-S defence secretary Robert Work. The annual forum bills itself as a gathering of democratic leaders committed to global security and prosperity.
A shocker in Hamilton where a mother and her boyfrind have been charged with offering up her seven year old daughter online to be sexually assaulted. Seven other people are also facing charges in the case after a six month investigation by Hamilton police. They say there are other victims and their investigation is continuing…but they have shut down the sexual assault and child porn ring.
