The losing vice-presidential candidate in the U-S election is in town for the Halifax International Secutity Forum.
Senator Tim Kaine is attending as is another Senator and former presidential candidate John McCain, the U-K’s Defence Minister Michael Fallon and Deputy U-S defence secretary Robert Work. The annual forum bills itself as a gathering of democratic leaders committed to global security and prosperity.
