In the NHL…the Leafs lost a 5-4 shootout to the Devils. Flames shut down Columbus 2-0. Wild beat the Jets 3-1. Oilers beat the Avalanche 6-3. Canucks downed the Coyotes 4-1. Sidney had two goals and an assist as the Penguins pounded the Rangers 6-1.
In the NBA…the Raptors beat the Rockets 115-102 in Houston.
The body of a 25-year-old Moncton man who had been reported missing has been found.
Members of the Codiac Regional RCMP discovered Stephane Leger this morning on the banks of the Petitcodiac River near Assomption and Vaughan Harvey Boulevards in Moncton.
Police made the discovery following information received from a member of the public who believed they had seen the man in that area on the night he went missing.
The man was reported missing by his family on Monday. He had last been seen in the Robinson Court area of downtown Moncton on November 20, at about 1:00 a.m.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death.
Foul play is not suspected at this time, however police are continuing to investigate in order to determine what happened.
