Wait times

New Brunswick had Canada’s longest wait times for people seeking medical treatment. A report from the Fraser Institute says the median wait time in this province was almost 39 weeks…compared to an average of 20 weeks for the country as a whole. That’s also double what it was in 1993.

Cocaine trafficking on Acadian Peninsula

A seventh man has been charged with street-level cocaine trafficking on the Acadian Peninsula.

The charges stem from an investigation launched in February that led to the seizure of cocaine and marijuana.

Six men were initially charged with several counts of drug trafficking in June. The seventh suspect, a 48 year old man from Six Roads, appeared in Tracadie provincial court yesterday, and was charged with five counts of trafficking cocaine.
