Lights for the Boston Pizza intersection are on track to be in place this summer. City engineer Darren Row told the Leader that equipment has been ordered, and different configurations are being looked at still. That part of Douglastown Boulevard is notorious for accidents.

Caraquet wharf gets federal, provincial, municipal funding
All three levels of government are putting in roughly $1.2 million total for the Caraquet wharf. The project will include building a boat launch and installing 111 docking quays for recreational boats. It’s hoped the improvements will encourage more visits and overnight stays.
