Next Monday, the Beaverbrook House will be featuring the life; the memories, the music and the books of Dr. Louise Manny; who was instrumental in developing the Miramichi folksong festival.

Admission is a free will offering, all money will go directly to the preservation and refurbishing of the house.

International Women’s Day will be marked in Miramichi this Wednesday.

Events get underway with a march starting at 5:30 in the afternoon at Cake a Chance and ending at the MillCove Cafe.
