Isabella Imperatori concert in Miramichi

To raise money for the St. Michael’s Capital Campaign, singer Isabella Imperatori will perform in Miramichi at the Vogue Theatre on Sunday, April 30th.

She’s living in Rogersville with her husband and daughter.

Imperatori has sung professionally for 15 years in her native France and now performs in her adopted country of Canada, she’s been living here for 17 years.

Tickets are 20 dollars, you can get them at the St. Michael’s parish office in Chatham; the Brookdale Flower Shop, the Family Convenience Store on Wellington Street; the Mr. Tomato in Rogersville and from committee members.

Max Aitken Academy announcement today

A plan to fix overcrowding at Max Aitken Academy is due to be released today.

The Miramichi K-8 school held its grand opening last week and was built for 500 students, but about 550 are there now.

The announcement is set for 10am at the school.
