Two people are dead after a single-vehicle accident near Baie-Sainte-Anne. It hit a power pole on Highway 117 around 2:30 this morning, killing two 35-year-old men – one from Pointe-Sapin, the other from Bay du Vin. The investigation continues, but speed and alcohol are believed to have been factors.

Notre-Dame-des-Érables house fire deemed suspicious
Northeast RCMP need your help with an arson that destroyed a home in Notre-Dame-des-Érables. Crews responded to the Route 340 residence around 4:30 the morning of March 30th. The cause has been deemed suspicious. Contact police with any information.
