The Horizon Health Network quarterly board meeting gets underway at one this afternoon, at the Rodd Miramichi.
Horizon will announce the winners of the Community Health Recognition Awards, to celebrate individuals and organizations that are making a difference to improve overall health in Horizon communities.
Tomorrow night at six, a march will take place from Miramichi city hall to the monument behind the Kin Centre.
That’s taking place to mark the Day of Mourning, in memory of workers that were killed on the job.
Tomorrow at noon, a ceremony will also be held in Bathurst at the monument near the Sacred Heart Cathedral.
