Tonight at six, a march will take place from Miramichi city hall to the monument behind the Kin Centre.
That’s taking place to mark the Day of Mourning, in memory of workers that were killed on the job.
Today at noon, a ceremony will also be held in Bathurst at the monument near the Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Rehab work on the Centennial Bridge means that the third overnight closure will begin at 11 p.m. Sunday April 30th, and run until 5 a.m. Monday May 1.
Those closures will be repeated for the next four nights, concluding the morning of Friday; May 5th.
Throughout the summer, the bridge will be limited to a single-lane.
Lights are on the bridge to control the traffic flow.
