44 year old Miramichi police constable Eric Pomerleau has been found guilty of dangerous driving regarding a high-speed crash while the on-duty officer had a police student in the cruiser on the King George Highway in June of 2016.
Court heard that Pomerleau was driving 132 kilometres per hour when he slammed into a parked truck and a utility pole.
He will be sentenced in September.
