Marissa June Shephard will be tried in Baylee Wylie’s death. The 21-year-old Monctonian has waived her right to a preliminary inquiry, and a trial date will be set June 5th. She faces first-degree murder and arson after Wylie’s body was found in a Sumac Street home in December 2015.

Centennial Bridge status
The Centennial Bridge will be closed tonight from 11 until tomorrow at 5am for rehab work.
Those closures will conclude the morning of Friday; May 5th.
Throughout the summer, the bridge will be limited to a single-lane.
Lights are on the bridge to control the traffic flow.
