The recent Striper Cup had over 17 hundred people take part.
Over 19 hundred kilograms of bass was weighed in, the largest one caught was almost 15 kilograms.

The MVHS Drama Club will present Musical Magic 2017, a musical medley show; this Wednesday through Sunday June 4th at the MVHS Auditorium. It will feature songs from the 1960s to the present day. Show times are 7:30 p.m. and tickets are 10 dollars at the door. Tickets can also be reserved by calling the MVHS office.
Lloyd Cameron and Samuel Crowell of Miramichi are co-directing a play about mental health. It’s called Stillwater: A Musical. It’s a seven-person play, featuring actors playing multiple characters. Advance tickets are available at Creative Grounds Cafe and the Brookedale Flower Shop. The show will be this Friday and Saturday at the Vogue Theatre at 7:30 p.m.
