On Thursday from 10:30 til noon, the Miramichi support group for women with cancer and partners will have a care and share fitness and healing program at the Newcastle Public Library.

Miramichi Area and New Brunswick organizations put this together to help communities offer resources for people with cancer to have them adopt and/or maintain healthy behaviours and learn to live well longer.

A California singer/songwriter originally from Halifax, Steve Poltz; will be performing at the Rodd Miramichi River Hotel on Tuesday, June 13th; at 8 p.m.  Tickets are 25 dollars each.  You can get them at Quesada Burritos and Tacos, Mill Cove Coffee; the Creative Grounds Cafe, and the Rodd Miramichi.

Tickets are now on sale for the Miramichi Folksong Festival in 2017.  The opening will be at the Civic Centre on New Brunswick Day, August 7th; with Natalie MacMaster, and others.  You can get tickets at Miramichifolksongfestival.com
