53 year old Charles “Chuck” Mazerolle of Cole Crescent in Miramichi was arrested last Tuesday after police found a number of drugs, guns; and cash.
The suspect has waived his right to a bail hearing, and will stay in custody until June 19th, when he will elect and plead to the charges.
20 year old Alexander John Martin of Bay du Vin will do five months in jail, plus time served for several incidents that happened during the past year.
They include thefts, breaches; and two counts of mischief when he spray painted swastikas on the Beaverbrook House and a Bell Aliant van.
Once out of jail, Martin will be on probation; and must attend any programs for substance abuse or any other follow-up treatments required by his probation officer.
