Police advise you that the Miramichi Bridge will be closed for a bit on the 25th for the Rock ‘n Run ½ marathon. That’ll be from 8-8:10am from Hennessey Street to Nelson, and police will be monitoring traffic throughout the event. They ask you to be cautious.

September motion on withdrawn plea in murder case
A Howard Road man who admitted to second-degree murder wants to change his plea. 21-year-old Brandon Blake Colford had pleaded guilty in the April 2016 death of Michael Ryan, but will now have a motion to withdraw that heard on September 1st.
