Provincial funding has been announced to help fund paving and installating storm sewers in Neguac. The village will contribute to the projects, which involve a 1.8-km stretch of Robichaud Street.

MPF officer’s dangerous driving trial update
Miramichi Police Force sergeant Robert Bruce has testified at Constable Eric Pomerleau’s trial. The latter faces dangerous driving, and the former says he himself responded to last summer’s shoplifting report at Walmart as a “routine” call. Pomerleau was charged after his cruiser hit a power pole while responding.
