Escuminac SPCA ruling
According to the SPCA, an Escuminac church is not a puppy mill; but a licensed kennel.
Yet, some people are seeking more reassurance that the animals are safe.
But he owner of the property, Eric Couture; says he is operating a licensed kennel that meets all New Brunswick SPCA standards.
The SPCA said its March inspection covered heat, light, housing and animal health, among other issues.
A reinspection was carried out recently by animal protection officers.
