The man accused of trafficking pills with fentanyl in Esgenoôpetitj will be tried later this summer. 35-year-old Jesse Joe is accused of doing so in April, and is also charged with breaching probation. His trial was set for the end of August.

Legion Branch 3 to give away poppies for Canada 150
Legion Branch 3 in Chatham is acknowledging Canada 150 by asking you to plant poppies. 150 packages’ worth will be distributed on Canada Day, and can be found at the Legion itself in the meantime.
