A Quebec man was killed in a motorcycle accident near Renous. The bike left the road around 3:00 yesterday afternoon on Route 108. The cause is being investigated, but it appears he was turning when it happened. The 79-year-old died at the scene.

New Brunswick’s official languages commissioner says there’s work to be done in Miramichi when it comes to the French language.
However, organizations like Carrefour Beausoleil; have defended Miramichi’s record on bilingualism and its support of French language cultural programming.
In addition, the city and the Carrefour have teamed up to bring the 2018 Acadian Games for five days next summer.
