NS Teachers Union comments

The Teachers Union says the $3.4 million which the government saved becauise of the one day strike last week should go into classrooms.

The government says it will be putting that money into grants for extra-curricular activities. The union says the money should go towards reducing class sizes or for greater support for special needs students.
