The Clean Annapolis River Project, known as CARP; which addresses threats to the waterway, has been without federal core funding for the past two years; and now, it’s feeling the pinch.

CARP is asking its members, supporters; and the wider community to step up and help.

West Hants and Windsor have a deal regarding joint ownership of the Long Pond Heritage Centre project.

The new arena will be near the athletic complex at King’s-Edgehill School, which itself is near Long Pond.

Long Pond is the place where many believe hockey was first played.
