Police are investigating after a body was found in Lunenburg County. A man working in the woods came across it around 4:00 Friday afternoon near the 103 in Blockhouse. The Medical Examiner’s Office is working to determine the person’s identity. Foul play is not suspected.

Bridgewater to launch transit service in pilot project
Bridgewater is launching its own transit service in the fall. The one-bus system is part of a six-month pilot project, and will feature two buses total with one as a backup. Halifax is donating the buses to the town. The route will take 45 minutes to complete.
