The Valley Gardeners Club is marking Canada 150 with its 35th Annual Open Horticultural Show. It’s Saturday, August 12th at NSCC’s Kingstec Campus and is open to anyone with an interest in gardening, cooking or photography. It’ll run from 1-4, and is free to attend.

CRA-related scam going around Annapolis Royal
Annapolis Royal police are warning about a phone scam. People are getting calls from someone claiming to be with the Canada Revenue Agency. Chief Burt McNeil reminds you the CRA rarely makes calls, and certainly wouldn’t tell you to send money – or gift cards, as is the case with the current scam.
